War Child – Wassail 2023 Pledge Video

We had the privilege of working on two films for War Child Wassail 2023, the charity’s biennial flagship fundraising event. This glamorous evening has been raising essential funds for children in conflict zones since 2014. The Friday’s Child team were delighted to get our teeth stuck into slightly longer-form content as part of the project. The incredibly talented War Child ambassador Carey Mulligan provided the voice over.

We faced last-minute challenges, due to the crisis in the Middle East, which prevented War Child from being able to capture footage in Lebanon as had been planned. But thanks to the excellent archive that War Child were able to make available to us, we were able to work with the charity to put a plan B into action. The film was screened just before the evening’s ‘pledge moment’ and played a part in the event raising £1.5 million for children affected by conflict!
