Bone Cancer Research Trust – Jade’s Story

We are honoured to share this inspiring story of resilience and strength that took centre stage at the Bone Cancer Research Trust Charity’s Annual Ball in November 2023. We filmed this moving interview at BCRT’s annual conference in Leeds and supplemented the footage with some photos kindly provided to us by Jade, which illustrate the remarkable journey she’s been on. 

In 2019, Jade was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her shin bone, resulting in an above knee amputation. Sadly, Jade experienced a delay in being diagnosed, which is the case for 75% of primary bone cancer patients in the UK. Jade has made it her mission to raise awareness amongst young people and health professionals alike on the signs of bone cancer. Despite everything she’s been through, Jade’s ability to remain positive is truly inspiring.
